First off, I have to say my husband researched patio furniture off Amazon for hours before we decided to purchase this set. We read the other reviews and feel like we knew what we would be receiving.There was one hiccup after the order was shipped, wrong colour of cushion covers were sent for the sofa. But the company contacted me immediately and told me they would be sending the blue cushion covers right away. The communication with the company is beyond 5 stars. Quick responses, detailed information provided and very professional. I would order again from this company just based on their communication.My husband put together the sofa, chairs and ottoman one evening. I don’t think it was too challenging as he didn’t complain about anything lolWe absolutely love the set! Love the colour blue and it’s exactly what we wanted.If you see any marks on the set in the pictures, they would be from my kids. I’ve already wiped chalk off, dirt and other messy stuff kids get into/ the fabric cleans like a dream!Also I am 38 weeks pregnant and find the chairs and sofa very comfortable ?After initial problems with delivery (not the sellers fault UPS fault) we now have the full beautiful set. Honestly it's easy to assemble, I did the sofa myselfThis set took a while to build (I recommend a power screwdriver and quality wrench). But the end result is a super comfortable patio set. It is very sturdy. Easy to clean. Best thing is each piece has it's own cover to keep them looking good when not in use.I’m very happy with this set. I love how you can make the chairs into lounges with the ottomans for movie night! (Does not recline) I only gave it 4 stars because 2 packs of their vacuum packed cushions came undone in shipment so it took 3 people to unpack all pieces because they were really stuck inside each other. Other than that, it’s not difficult to put together, just VERY tedious. If you can follow directions and match letters you’ll be good. It took me 4.5 hours as a single person putting it together. Be careful not to drag the pieces on the ground as you’re doing this because it will scratch the rattan easily. It’s best to put all the small pieces in separate bowls so you don’t grab the wrong size bolt (I had to undo one section, doh!). One box was missing a couple bolts and nuts but luckily the other box had extras. Cushions are comfy and like a rain coat material. I also recommend putting the bare cushion in a chair so you see which way it goes before putting the cover on the wrong way. Knowing the zipper goes in the back, this made it faster for me. Still a bit of a struggle getting the covers on but this way you won’t have trial and error. The true test of the set is the Arizona sun. I will keep it covered because I have it out on an uncovered patio. I’ll report back in several years to say how it held up to the intense heat. The black rattan does get hot in the sun but that’s everything in Arizona. Overall, very happy with this set. Great value for the money!Have only had the set for about 2 weeks now. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase so far. Had to assemble certain parts that were hard to reach without being able to see the parts I was trying to tighten because of the angles. It’s still manageable to complete with patience. Aside from those 4-5 steps to the assembly, the rest of the assembly process is fairly easy to assemble but just time consuming. I’d say about 8 hours overall since I assembled it on separate days. The cushions are comfortable but not as firm as I was expecting. The back rest cushions are very soft and feels like it could use firmer or bigger back rest cushions. It looks great in our patio area and I like the covers for the furniture that were included even though one of the tightening strings came off on first use. Spent several hours sitting on the chair portion of the set over the weekend and was comfortable enough to feel happy with the purchase. I’ll have to try the couch portion more but my son seemed comfortable on it as well. The set also went well with the metal patio chairs I already had. Sor far so good.The assembly took us way longer than some of the other reviewers said. My husband and I spent close to 8 hours putting everything together because there are so many screws in awkward places. Other than the long assembly time, this was a great purchase. The quality is great, they’re comfortable, and the covers they came with are so handy!After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the assembly of this set. So much so I considered paying to have it put together.The instructions were very easy to understand. They showed you in each step what you were going to use and how to assemble the pieces. Each bag of bolts were clearly marked with the size and therefore you knew which ones to use for each step. I don’t believe it could have been any simpler to be honest. A few bolts do go in a tight spot and are a little difficult to reach. I had no trouble with any of the assemble of the set. If I was going to say anything could be improved I would suggest using a ball end Allen wrench because it made things easier for me. Everything lined up fine. On the chairs I did insert all my bolts and tightened they after all of them were put in place. And because of the material it’s made from you have to go back and retighten some bolts. Once it’s pulled together a few bolts will be loosened just because , you tightened the others.The worst thing for me was stuffing the foam cushions into the coverings. It was kind of like sticking a syrup covered cat into a bag! I finally laid on them and worked the foam corners in the coverings. Worst part of the entire process!The set is sturdy and well constructed and I’m very happy with it so far!They are the perfect height, very comfortable, and we love that they came with covers too. Also, love the two ottomans are rearrangeable, so can have a foot stool at any seat, can share an ottoman between 2 seats, very versatile! I did scotch guard them to resist fading and weather, even though they are "weather resistant".
